There are typically only two items you need to sell your used vehicle.

First is the vehicle title issued by the state in which the vehicle was purchased.

Second is the release lien documentation from your bank. A release of lien is typically only needed if you financed the car when you purchased it. Typically the bank sends you the release of lien after you have paid off the loan taken to purchase the vehicle. If you have not received your release of lien contact your bank or lending institution.
